Description

The Cape 1000 is a grand touring regularity rally in South Africa's Western Cape. Over five days and 1,600 kilometres (1,000 miles) it includes a few regularity stages plus non-competitive sporting sections on race tracks or closed roads. Cars run in four classes: Classic, Modern Classic, Sports and Special. The field is capped at about 70 cars. The rally starts with a Show and Shine at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, heads for Franschhoek and the Overberg region and finishes back at the Waterfront.
