Description

HERO-ERA's Gaucho Trail Motor Challenge is a long-distance rally across South America, about 11,000 kilometres over 27 competition days. The route runs from Montevideo through Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina and Chile, with stops such as Iguazu Falls and the Puna plateau. The programme has about 40 regularity sections, around 10 sporting sections and roughly 8 tests. Cars built before 1976 are eligible, with special classes up to 1985 and classic 4x4s.
