Description

The Hemmings Great Race is a time-speed-distance rally for vehicles built in 1974 or earlier. Driver and navigator teams follow written route instructions along American back roads and are scored on accuracy, not speed. The 2027 edition is called Gulf to the Great Lakes and covers about 2,400 miles across seven states in nine days. It starts in Mobile, Alabama and finishes in Buffalo, New York, with overnight stops in Montgomery, Chattanooga, Dayton and Erie. Prize money totals more than 160,000 US dollars.
