Mitteleuropean Race – “La salita della Trieste-Opicina” (21–24 May 2026) is an international classic car and motorsport event featuring regularity tests for historic cars (Superclassica) as well as events for modern cars and a supercar gathering. The event is based in the Trieste area and runs over scenic, challenging roads through Friuli Venezia Giulia and parts of Slovenia. The Superclassica (10th edition) includes three competitive days covering about 600 km; there is also a major event for modern cars and a three-day supercar tour. The race combines sporting challenges, cultural stops and regional hospitality.
